Meredith Vieira Joins John Williams' Newsmagazine on NBC
Meredith Vieira Meredith Vieira has became a member of John Williams' approaching newsmagazine, Rock Center, NBC News introduced Tuesday. The first kind Today anchor will behave as a unique correspondent for that primetime news show, as well as lead to Today, NBC Nightly News and also the network's other news programs. Vieira, 57, left ABC's The Vista for Today in 2006 to exchange Katie Couric, who visited CBS Evening News. Vieira left Today in June, with Ann Curry changing her as Matt Lauer's co-anchor.
