Reese Witherspoon Resting After Being Struck By Car In LA; Incident Described As Minor

Captain Judah Mitchell of the Santa Monica Police Department told Access Hollywood that the actress was hit by a car while jogging in the city in the afternoon. The incident was described as minor. Following the incident, Reese was taken to a local hospital, Capt. Mitchell confirmed to Access. A rep for the actress released a statement to Access noting the actress was not seriously injured during the incident.
